A SUPERB, COSTERMONGER’S BARROW/ CART WITH CANOPY This vintage Costermonger's Barrow/Cart with Canopy is a stunning addition to any garden or outdoor space, we are not sure of the maker, but the wheel hubs have Willis & Sons, Eton & Windsor carved on them. Made of wood and cast iron, this antique piece is both sturdy and stylish, with a vibrant yellow body, together with red and green detailing. Perfect for anyone who loves architectural antiques, this barrow is a great conversation starter and a unique piece of history. This barrow also has removable slats for displaying your wears & an iron frame, with stripped market style canopy. The material has faded and unfortunately has been nibbled on, but can be used as a template to make a new one. The 28 inch wooden wheels also have metal rims, together with the cast iron spring axle. The metal frame does detach, and is held on with four bolts, unfortunately these are currently missing. Overall, it is in very good condition, with minor TLC needed.
